It is best to call and discuss your ideas for a project first to get a sense of what they are funding currently. They are very approachable. If your project is something they are interested in, they are very willing to help you think through your application.

In matters of health care, Bingham Program knows the Maine landscape well. Both program officers are very easy to work with and accessible. Study their website, then contact the program officers to see if your project fits their priorities. The online application is very simple and straight forward.

Research the giving history and current priorities of the Bingham Program. If you believe your project is a good match, I would suggest emailing the Program Officers and requesting a phone or face to face meeting to share your project and solicity their feedback. They are very approachable.
