This foundation has many different funds, and communicates their expectations very clearly. They hold both pre and post award presentations that guide you through the process. As of 2019, the max award is $5K. Contact the Vice President, Programs & Operations with questions, she is very helpful.

Accessibility to funds requires attendance at both pre and post award presentations, which average 90 minutes.
Good
The committees are dedicated to reviewing each and every application that meets the initial criteria for submission and seem to award a wide range of causes in Middlesex County. They also sponsor events for non-profit professional development.
Hoping they will increase the number of professional development/networking opportunities for non-profits.

This foundation awards relatively small amounts...about 5K tops. There are a few mandatory events you must attend both pre and post award, but this is really just to go over how to apply correctly and how to publicize the award after the fact. The staff are very pleasant to work with and truly hold the Middlesex community in their hearts.

Call before you write. Attend their events. You have to attend a mandatory workshop before applying. It is not very useful, but you have to attend.

It is hard for upper county social service organizations to get noticed.

They are full of implicit bias, favoring organizations in the southern county and organizations tied to their donors.
Please don't require us to attend the pre and post grant workshop. It's the same information every year and we know how to collate.
he Foundation raises money from wealthy individuals very well.
