Good
Cedarmere is a wonderful funder that is very focused on the development and success of the leadership of their current and former grantees. We were funded over 5 years ago and have been told we're not a likely candidate for future funding, but we're invited to every-other-month leadership gatherings (facilitated discussions) for EDs of all current and former grantees.
Good
They work to build the leadership skills and support EDs of current/former grantees.
The gatherings of community EDs for facilitated discussions is incredibly valuable. Also, the encouragement to attend training opportunities is greatly valued.
They are not a funder that provides significant $$$ - rather, the value is in the long term leadership guidance opportunities one gains as a result of being funded initially.
Builds a network and community of non-profit leaders.
