Grant Applicant - applied in 2017

Know that its point person is remarkably ill-suited for the job. This staff person is highly insecure, incapable of staying with a train of thought for more than 5 seconds, and needs to be the person who knows it all. Yet, given the power this person exercises, it is a perfect case of the emperor having no clothes - and this person is regularly fawned over and all pretend - at least in this person's presence - that this person makes sense, when in fact this person - while no doubt nice - is incompetent.

Cons

Inadvertently exerts negative influence in the field, Difficult to work with, Bureaucratic
