They require a detailed organizational budget using *their* template, with separate columns for YTD progress and percentage of progress, plus a program budget (also their own template), and all this for grant asks under $5,000. Not worth the time and trouble to apply for an overworked organization, with these far from progressive funder practices.

It is great that they have an open application process and presence with the excellent Community Foundation for Southern Arizona, with fairly broad areas of focus.

Reconsider your intrusive, stringent budget requirements in the context of what it's like to work in a nonprofit trying to provide quality services, with little time to spend reconfiguring budget items to make your grant review process a little easier. Keep funding organizations :)
