Reviewer 6612 - Grant Applicant - applied in 2024
These were some of the most disorganized, arrogant, and flakey people I've ever encountered in the foundation world. They seemed to believe they knew how to solve the problem (so why did they even need us?) and asked us to submit at least 5 rounds of the grant proposal over a year and a half. In each round, they reduced the amount of possible funding. In the end, they decided to abandon the project.
Inadvertently exerts negative influence in the field, Doesn't "get" nonprofits and issues, Difficult to work with, Culturally incompetent, Bureaucratic

Listen to experts, streamline your grant process, give "get to know you grants" for time beyond 10-20 hours of work on a grant.
Do not work with this foundation.
They're great at wasting nonprofit time and resources.

The website used to apply for grants is such a dinosaur! It is not at all user friendly.
