Each Edina Realty office has a very different process. Your best bet is to call the office, find out the appropriate representative, and their process (when they review, how frequently, where they tend to accept proposal from, etc). There is no consistency between offices--really up to the individuals who act as representatives.
Current or former grantee
Funded for lesser amount
It is a mixed bag--you might get a prompt response from one office rep and air wave silence from another.
It would be beneficial to have more consistency and accountability between offices. The HQ of the Foundation seems to take a very hands off approach in terms of process.
Develop a consistent, across the board application process that offices must be accountable to. Be clear about deadlines and the review timeline.
Prompt responses (if responded to at all).

I was invited to apply, spoke several times in person/over the phone/via email with different staff locally and from the foundation headquarters, and no one ever actually read the grant or responded. After 5 months they asked me to send it again but never responded; we saw them locally at events where they asked us to call their office to pursue the grant again but they never returned the calls. The foundation said the local branches meet about applications monthly, but our local office said they never had time to meet about it over the course of a YEAR. Hopefully other branches do a better job at fielding applications and their communications, but ours was horrible!
Difficult to work with
Applied and not funded
Easy to find the grant, find your local office to send it to, but horrible time trying to communicate with said office.
Hard to reach their goals when they don't work with organizations on them.
Accountability is key.
They do have a set office and representative that works specifically for the foundation instead of the job being tacked on to another employee's broader work load.
