Very open to meeting with organizations and giving feedback on grant proposals. They have switched to a LOI process which has cut back on time spent significantly. The staff are good at suggesting overall improvements in the organization that are helpful. Cooper funds general operating and general programmatic funding, which is fantastic.

They want to take risks, but organizations need to have some stability to apply, so it is harder for new organizations to get accepted. They did fund our newly formed group once, but then wouldn't do so again until we met certain criteria that we don't entirely understand.
More diversity and younger members on the board.
