I have never worked with a funder so responsive and focused on helping my organization succeed.

The nonprofit community in Nashville and Middle Tennessee recognize that Healing Trust goes way beyond handing out money to fulfill its mission. The Trust offers training, retreats, funds for organizational consulting and other forms of help and encouragement.
Continue to work on letting the community know and understand how you define the foundation's mission and how you target funding, accordingly. Terms like "sacred work," and "fostering healing and wholeness," will mean different things to different people. So the effort of explaining may never be done.
In November 2018, the national Grant Professionals Association presented Healing Trust with the International Pioneer Award for outstanding work in the community.
Healing Trust makes every effort to help make you a better organization. They don't just treat you like a pass-through from their hand to the client's hand. They want you, the agency and agency staff, to be strong and able to serve.
