You must be succinct in your application. I found I had to include extra details in my cover letter which I could not fit in the grant LOI.

Allow a bit more space in some of the sections, such as goals and objectives, of the lOI. Look to grant programs that are truly unique - think outside the box. I think you already do this, but always worth re-considering.
I love their outreach and communication! They are very responsive if you have questions.

I have no advice at this time, as not that familiar yet with their funding practices, but the video I found in my research of a prior grant recipient (program for patients to paint and do crafts) was anther example of how they helped others heal.
Started with a premise of loving patients, FROM PATIENT PERSPECTIVE as does my book/contribution.
They just reorganized their new focus in February 2020~ so with the new criteria, I'm hoping I hit a home run checking all their new boxes.

Not familiar with how they fund, but was a cancer patient who took advantage of their partnership with the 'Y.' They gifted my husband and me a free temporary membership, which rocked our world at the time! I was a recipient of their stellar services!
