They want to address disadvantaged and underrepresented in STEM, however, that has not been my experience, due to the three denials. I simply stopped applying.
If you want to work with organizations serving underrepresented populations in STEM, put more effort into working with nonprofits and not simply denying and not saying why.
I cannot think of anything.

Reached out to the foundation 3 times to open the conversation to pitch the project we had in mind. Auto email said we'd hear back in 10 business days. No word after a month. Moved forward with app because close alignment with their priorities. Received a generic declination in under 2 weeks.
