They scheduled a grant writing workshop that I attended. However, upon arriving, I, along with several others from local agencies, found that the workshop had been cancelled with no prior notice. They then did not update my organization on their grant making changes, leaving us in the dark, confused, and frustrated.

This organization has a new focus on funding and building endowments. I believe that this is a good mission but it neglects organizations that do not have the capacity yet to begin building an endowment and who have previously relied on the Foundation for funding.
Improve communication with grantees - even those that are not the big fish.
They have an extensive history with local nonprofits and have been pillars of support in the community.
