Grant Applicant - applied in 2018
They just went to Results Based Accountability (RBA). Many established nonprofits already operate in an outcome based framework. This year they made a mandatory training just to be eligible to apply for funding. The training was poorly communicated (not enough turnaround time given to prospective attendees and the mandatory nature of it was insult to injury). Content should have been condensed; the training was not worth the time invested. After this they made all prospective applicants do a pre screening application. Their process has gone from bad to FAR worse. On top of this, they continue to have less money to give away from year to year. Disappointed.

Think creatively about how you can CHANGE the way our sectors do business rather than make the applicants lives more difficult.
