Bullitt Foundation is not just a funder, they become a partner. Frequent communication is encouraged and provides value not only in the funder/fundee relationship, but in learning more about the broader context of the industry and mission, and in making connections to the larger funding world.

Make sure you first review and digest who they are funding. The foundation made a radical shift and couple of years ago from being a "traditional" enviro funder to one that now focuses on sustainability, equity, climate change adaptation. Very open to new approaches
