This funder is the ultimate grass roots community supporter! They can't always fund the total amount if it is a large request, but they do their best to find funding for you. They provide many mini grants, that are easy to apply for. They also offer a host of workshops to help enhance and professionalize your growth and thereby the growth of your organization. RCF's focus is Richmond and surrounding areas, and they do a grand job in multiple areas at bringing funds to help these communities. The staff are always helpful, available and understanding--even though they are busy, overworked and above all else dedicated to their mission. I would say "get to know them"!
