They are very responsive when you reach out to them.

They tend to put a lot of stock in their own analysis of the organizations when they may not have the expertise to properly evaluate organizations. They have a reputation for overlooking shortcomings of some of their organizations, while seemingly overly focusing on negatives of other organizations.
To please consider the operational challenges that organizations and leaders face, and to be more grantee-centric. For example, more transparency about funding amounts from year to year, to provide introductions to other donors, and to consider how you can best support organizations in your portfolio.
