Advice from a Friend

Jacobs Family Foundation Inc

Grant Applicant - applied in 2016

The Jacobs Family Foundation is very poorly run by a CEO who seems out of his depth. He makes promises to the community and then changes what the foundation is allegedly doing about every seven months. The result is that nothing good happens. He has changed his senior leadership at least four times since becoming CEO, and there are rumors of financial impropriety. Save yourself the headache of working with these people.

Cons

Inadvertently exerts negative influence in the field, Difficult to work with, Culturally incompetent, Bureaucratic, Risk averse
