I would not apply again given the intensity and detail needed for the LOI, interview, and then application, and then the reporting, all for a relatively small five figure grant. They want things additional too like a grant announcement/publicity plan. The LOI is an application in itself. Only apply if you really need the funding and can wait almost a year to receive it.

They became a joke around the office - Send an LOI in early January and receive a postcard around Thanksgiving that your LOI did not meet the criteria for further funding. Thanks, we kind of figured that out.

A black box. It appears they want their name on things (since the name is all over LA). Is it true that the magic with them is apply 3 times, then you'll get funded? If so we have two more times to go.
