It's unclear at this point whether Tech Foundation even exists as more than a web site. You need to do some research about whether they actually have what most people would consider to be a grant program. The founder is brilliant but very restless. Don't expect a linear and rational process.
Inadvertently exerts negative influence in the field, Doesn't "get" nonprofits and issues, Difficult to work with

If they are accomplishing anything, it's so far under the radar that I have no idea what those accomplishments are.
I don't even know where to begin, except to say that you need stable, transparent, accountable, and highly professional leadership.

They broadly fund capacity building, technology and infrastructure in nonprofits. They even fund salary for IT people to implement the project. They really get that this is a huge need in the nonprofit sector and work to fill this need.
The application is simple and I appreciate that but the portal itself could be more user friendly. Having the ability to download or view the application in its entirety would be great. Particularly since the last button says next, so if you are just going through to see what info you need to gather you may accidently submit the application. Making a "confirm submission" button would be nice.
The application was simple.
I wish more funders "got" the importance of these types of infrastructure grants and were more willing to do what this foundation does.
