Good
Funder was OUTSTANDING in providing extremely useful, constructive feedback after our LOI was not accepted. On the highest end of transparency in terms of letting us know what the reviewers liked and didn't like about our application.
Good
Their mission is to fund programs for people with spinal chord injuries and that's exactly what they do -- no more and no less.
Not so easy to squeeze all the required information into the little boxes in the template.
See above -- provided extremely comprehensive feedback on our application, including impressions and opinions of the grant reviewers.

We applied without having a relationship with them and we were approved, I think because we fit the criteria very closely.

Their online format is pretty user un-friendly, required attachments were a bit of a hassle, and their review process takes almost a full year. It's hard to make programmatic and planning decisions when you don't know what's happening for that long.
Good
They offer excellent grants that focus on a variety of issues related to SCI.
Offers sufficiently large grants to meet the needs of people with spinal cord injuries, at least in terms of quality of life programs.
