They claim to fund "exceptional leaders and innovative organizations that tackle important social issues and deliver scalable and sustainable impact" but their portfolio has a mix of organizations - many which does not deliver at scale or sustainably.
To have a clear process for considering new grantees and to treat grantees and grant seekers professionally. I've had several poor interactions with Amy Herskovitz, who previously led this foundation (now leads Fortitude).
What has changed at the Pershing Square Foundation under new leadership?
They appear to be biased to male-led organizations.
The international organizations that they fund are relatively strong.
