Being able to see the stories of other grantees through the "share your story" output is very nice. It allows us as grantees to be able to see the effects that Foundations Community Partnership has on the community, outside the scope of our own non-profit.
Extending the character limit on the application form might be helpful. Even if just by 50 characters or so!
They are very receptive to ideas that have the potential to make a difference! If it can benefit others, it is worth letting them know about.
Communication with the grantee once they have been awarded a grant. Communication about the check delivery, next steps, and expectations were clear and timely put.

FCP focuses on behavioral health and human services, and they not only fund organizations whose missions fit squarely into their giving areas, but also those nonprofits with missions that may contribute more indirectly to behavioral health and human services. In this way, they seem to be thriving in their philanthropic goals.
Consider multi-year grants - more efficient and effective for both funders and grantees.
We are incredibly grateful for a partnership that has proven to be both collaborative and honest. Communication is always warm and personal, and there is genuine interest not just in the mission and goals of our organization, but in the well-being of the individuals managing the programs.

The grantmaking process with FCP was wonderful. They were very supportive, open to meeting and answering questions along the way. With their support we were able to fund a 3-year Strategic Plan which is crucial for our organization at this juncture. Everyone we worked with was friendly and passionate about their work.

Email them with questions or follow up. We applied for one grant and didn't get it, but they told us to apply for a different grant and received full funding based off their recommendation.

Foundations Community Partnership has demonstrated commendable success in achieving its current philanthropic goals through its strategic initiatives and collaborative approach. By fostering partnerships with local organizations and community stakeholders, the foundation has effectively addressed key social and healthcare challenges, such as access to education, mental health support, and youth development.
One measure of the foundation's success lies in its impact on the community. These initiatives have contributed to positive outcomes, including improved academic performance among students, increased access to mental health services, and enhanced community resources for at-risk populations.
Moreover, the foundation's commitment to collaboration and capacity-building has amplified its impact and sustainability. By engaging with diverse stakeholders, including nonprofit organizations, schools, government agencies, and healthcare providers, Foundations Community Partnership has fostered a holistic approach to addressing community needs. This collaborative model not only maximizes resources but also promotes innovation and knowledge-sharing, leading to more effective solutions to complex social challenges.
Additionally, Foundations Community Partnership has demonstrated adaptability and responsiveness to evolving community needs. Through ongoing needs assessments and stakeholder engagement, the foundation has remained attuned to emerging issues and trends, allowing it to adjust its philanthropic priorities and allocate resources where they are most needed.
Overall, Foundations Community Partnership's success in accomplishing its current philanthropic goals is evident in its tangible impact on the community, its collaborative approach to addressing social challenges, and its ongoing commitment to adaptability and responsiveness. One thing Foundations Community Partnership excels at is fostering collaborative partnerships within the community. By bringing together diverse stakeholders, including nonprofit organizations, schools, government agencies, and healthcare providers, the foundation creates a collective impact that addresses complex social challenges more effectively. This collaborative approach not only maximizes resources but also promotes innovation, knowledge-sharing, and sustainable solutions to benefit the community as a whole.
The relationship between Ann Silverman Community Health Clinic and Foundations Community Partership is collaborative and supportive.
One piece of advice for Foundations Community Partnership would be to continuously prioritize and invest in capacity-building initiatives for its grantee organizations. By providing support and resources to strengthen the infrastructure, leadership, and operational capacity of its partners, the foundation can enhance their ability to deliver impactful programs and sustain long-term positive outcomes in the community. Additionally, fostering a learning culture and providing opportunities for knowledge-sharing and professional development can further empower grantees to innovate, adapt, and effectively address evolving community needs.

Appreciate your feedback and letting others know about the accessibility of the FCP team.

If you work in an area related to FCP's interests and are debating whether to contact them, I encourage you to do so. At worst, if they cannot help you, they are likely to let you know politely and quickly so you can move on. If you do work that falls under one of their grants, they will be be very helpful.

I and my colleagues found FCP's personnel very accessible; they were not only ready but eager to work with us in order to help us through the process of applying for grants.

I don't feel capable of judging their effectiveness in meeting their philanthropic goals.
FCP does a good job communicating clearly, and their application process is relatively streamlined and straightforward, which made it easier (and less time-consuming) to complete compared to other funders.

Take the time to look at all funders. It may be difficult to identify which organization might be able to assist you, but it is worth the time and effort.

Representatives of Foundations Community Partnership (FCP) were immediately accessible. Both e-mail and telephone communications were responded to in less than 24 hours. In a climate of less than perfect service, this was a welcome experience.
Good
FCP's goals are clearly stated. It is likely that this helps in accomplishing their goals. Potential grantees have access to all the information they need when deciding if they should submit an application.
The only advice I can offer is to continue what you are doing in the manner in which you are doing it. You are doing a great job!
FCP is fair. Whether they are able to issue a grant or not, applicants know they have been heard.
FCP works quickly and efficiently. One has the impression that they want to help the applicant as much as possible in the entire process.
