This funder is clear in their priorities of supporting foster youth and utilizes resources to effectively address the needs of these youth.
This funder does multi-year grants which is greatly appreciated; I would like to see them do 5+ year grants for projects that take a significant amount of time in pursuit of significant policy change.
I appreciate the timely and upfront communication from this funder. I feel I am able to have open and honest discussions about challenges and the Program Officer is open minded, helpful and strategic.
The Program Officer is extremely personable, very caring and strives to be helpful in any way. She also acts as a "door opener" for us in that she introduces us to other funding opportunities and/or individuals that could be helpful.

Know that its point person is remarkably ill-suited for the job. This staff person is highly insecure, incapable of staying with a train of thought for more than 5 seconds, and needs to be the person who knows it all. Yet, given the power this person exercises, it is a perfect case of the emperor having no clothes - and this person is regularly fawned over and all pretend - at least in this person's presence - that this person makes sense, when in fact this person - while no doubt nice - is incompetent.
Inadvertently exerts negative influence in the field, Difficult to work with, Bureaucratic
