Grant Applicant - applied in 2023
The application is fairly simple and only requires a 3-page proposal as an LOI. However, extensive financial documents are required including a complete list of foundations and corporations who gave in the last 2 years, specific pages from audits, budgets for both project/program and organization, current YTD financial statements, and follow-up questions via email. If the LOI is approved, a site visit requires both your organization's ED and a board member. If you are a medium to large organization, ask for more than their most common grant amount since we found this to be too much work for the grant we received. Smaller organizations might consider the funding worth it though.

The small grant amounts won't have much impact other than for very small organizations.
Do not require the ED and a board member to attend the site visit for less than a $50,000 grant.
They certainly fully vet their prospective grantees.
