Try to make contact with a real human before investing the time in your application. Our experience is that applications go into a black hole and we never heard anything from the funder.

Foundation seems friendly and the online application is clear and reasonable. Never received a confirmation after we submitted though, and when we reached out seeking confirmation, we never heard back...so it's unclear to us if this foundation is functioning or not.

Our experience is that the application process is straightforward and great, and then there is no communication in terms of receiving the application or providing a funding determination. We applied a few years ago and never heard boo. I suppose we could still be pending...?
