The foundation is devoted to entrepreneurship, especially in NE Ohio. They take this work seriously and proposals should reflect a high-level understanding of entrepreneurship, innovation, and evidence of quality work. Reporting is extensive and rigorous.

The foundation should encourage nonprofits to come up with new ways of teaching/learning about entrepreneurship. It seems pretty stuck on a formula and not open to new ideas.
Understand that grantees sometimes have to adapt their entrepreneur programs to fit their organization -- in other words, what works in one institution might not work in another. Organizations that want to introduce entrepreneurship programs may need help envisioning ways to adapt to their culture.
While we liked this foundation a lot, not sure they liked us. It has been a struggle to fit into their model.
Communication is excellent.
