Based on my years of experience of being funded by this organization, I would have to say very successful. Every organization has their faults and that is expected. However, this organization cares about the community and the people they serve. So, while success can be definitive, for me, it's the heart of the Executive Director and the team that wants to see you succeed in your endeavors. Which then filters over into the population we serve that's success for me. People first.

THEY HAVE ONE OF THE MOST CARING EXECUTIVE DIRECTORS, THAT OTHER FUNDERS CAN LEARN FROM. A DIRECTOR THAT CARES AND IS FAIR, ONE WHO CHECKS IN ON HIS NONPROFITS WHTHERE THE NEWS IS GOOD OR BAD, HE WILL BE CALLING AND COMFORTING. THIS IS NOT HIS JOB, ITS JUST WHO HE IS AS A PERSON AND HIS STAFF DOES THE SAME.

The ED and staff are accessible and easy to talk to. Although they don't have the assets that other foundations have, they are willing to provide guidance and support in other ways and truly have been a partner for us.
