I sent a LOI, and they replied that our case would be considered by the Board. I called the staff and said, there wasn't that much info in our LOI. She (the receptionist/ secretary/ admin) said, well feel free to look at our website about a full proposal and send in more information.
So I did. No idea if this has helped.

This foundation supports conservative but productive causes, and they may or may not care about local attitudes. They have their own goals that do not relate to the larger communities' goals. Which is their right.
You seem to be well set in your views of what you wish to accomplish with the funds available to you. That is your prerogative. Understanding that you are carrying forward the values of Lynde and Harry Bradley, could you think a bit more about new ideas, from wherever? As part of the progressive spirit of Wisconsin.
Talk with the person who answers the phone, as you probably won't get to anyone else, unless you are a larger charitable organization. Even then, this person can be helpful. And I've heard it said without confirmation, that if your annual budget is less than $500,000, they will not look at you. Nonetheless, my little organization is trying.
We are still waiting for a decision.
