The application is a lot of work with lengthy guidelines to agree to. Agreements feel bureaucratic and not tailored to the funder. They seem to require more work than other funders for the size of grant amounts they award. They also want you to attend their regular community meetings with other non-profits. They don't seem to understand the value of non-profit staff time.

Please stop asking for 15+ copies of snail-mailed grant applications and a back-up copy on a flash drive. No other funder does this. Also, try using the MN Common Grant Application template, which many other funders accept.
