To get started I went on-line and got their phone number. I gave them a call and told them what we had in mind and they encouraged me to apply. Questions I had in submission were answered by a phone call.

Provide a little more guidance on what type of projects each grantor might consider for funding. There are general areas listed, but maybe examples within those areas.
Very easy application and all umbrella grantors use same application. Do not have to relearn format if applying to multiple grantors.

The people there are helpful and help you if you struggle with their on line application. The application is fairly easy and if you don't have everything you can save it and go back later and add more information.

Continue to increase visibility and be approachable. Its better than its ever been, don't change that :)
There is a small staff doing a ton of work.
I feel like the foundation tries to support all the agencies in the community and sometimes has a priority cause they are giving "extra points" for. The have had more workshops and meetings to help agencies grow and be more sustainable.
