Our organization (child welfare) received general operating funds when we applied for funding for a specific program after the foundation staff reviewed our financials. In the ensuing year, the foundation announced that it was focusing efforts in a different area, and we thought we would not receive funding as we did not fit in their mission. Fortunately, we asked if they would consider an application from us for continued funding, and their response was "Of course!"
We requested a one-year grant for general operating funds for $20,000, and at the Foundation's suggestion, we were awarded $10,000 a year for three years
Easy application process. Simple application and a site visit!
