Hirschhorn is part of the Blaustein Philanthropic Group. Staff is shared between this foundation and several others representing other members of the same family. Sometimes staff will suggest that you apply to one of the other family foundations instead of this one.
This funder does not require you to put your proposal into any specific format, no character counts/word counts, etc. If you have a suitable proposal that you have submitted to another foundation, they are fine with you "recycling" it and submitting it to them. This is a real time-saver over what many other funders require.
