Very successfully. They have been an important leader in promoting global competence in teaching and learning.

Longview has had a substantial and far-reaching impact on globally competent teaching through the variety of initiatives they have supported and the exemplary way they structure the work. The most recent support of teacher educators to infuse global competence into their programs is just one example. It was thorough and well placed providing ways for mentors and fellows to share the work they are doing.
Please keep supporting this important idea. The teacher education community needs your guidance!
Longview communicates expectations clearly and seek feedback about their work from grandees.

They are among the only funders focused exclusively in this space, and as a result, have an excellent bird's eye view into the players and programs in the field. They leverage this to make smart choices about funding but also to facilitate connections.
