They have clear funding interests, but great staff willing to talk out project ideas with you. They prefer capital projects but are starting to consider technology needs in response to the pandemic.

Consider multi-year giving or programs and not just capital projects.
Go in with a clear plan for your capital or technology project inclusing need and costs.
Talking through projects and confirming they are a fit before submission. While I wasn'y sure we would get fully funded, I knew we had a strong chance to get funded because we had already been vetted and coached by their staff.

We have found everyone here to be highly professional and ethical to work with, and have received multiple grants over the years, but found them to be quite exacting about proposal requirements. Follow guidelines exactly, and if funded (or not), keep them on your newsletter mailing list throughout the year. A meeting between key executives was required prior to final proposal submission.

A great organization that provides capital support. They prefer for you to have the majority of your funding for a project already committed, but they will walk you through the entire process. Make sure to reach out early with a project description to make sure it is something that they would be interested in funding.

Understand their priorities and expectations. If you are in contact with them, communicate the specifics of your project, and frame it in the way that their board likes, you'll have a great chance of being funded.
Communication. Their staff is very experienced and will walk you through what their expectations and funding priorities are.

The staff is glad to help define project parameters for best presentation to the board. It helps to know someone on that board. Warm and professional.
