Their international application is confusing. We only figured it out through trial and error. They have a "page 6" that has to be given to the program in the country, signed by the Bishop then appended back - which is hard to do. Their terminology is their own and when you call the Exec Director to ask clarification you get your head bitten off. My boss refuses to talk to her again because she is so unpleasant, scolding you like you are 5 years old. They pay no overhead, and accept no visits. So nasty on the phone. We are dropping them as of this year. We don't want their money.

Probably well. they tout Catholic evangelization and give money toward that. but I don't know.
The Executive Director is inappropriate and her behavior, ongoing, is wholly unacceptable. Their application is confusing.

They are not pleasant by phone at all. their application si confusing. You only find out after you apply that there is some item that is not described anywhere on their website that caused the decline. If you express this to them they get mad.

I am not sure. they fund a lot of Catholic projects but I think only like to $15,000 each.
Be nice by phone. Re-write your application. Include on your website all the guidelines; don't spring something on people after the fact wasting their time. Also be open to site visits.
They are just not nice especially their Exec Director. she is inflexible when you ask a question. Seems to get mad that you did not understand their very confusing application. answers you in a black and white way like things are obvious that truly are not.
Their application is confusing and not well written with exclamation points and red markings. If you call to ask a question they are unkind to say the least.
Fund Catholic projects.

It takes 9 months or more to process through all stages of this funder's grant process. This funder is only for long-term projects where the project plan does not require a great deal of timeline flexibility.

Easy to access, but takes a long time to get through the process.
Good
Shorten the application timeline.
They stay true to their mission focus, and their online application process is great.
