The staff of the Moody Foundation is very helpful and approachable. Do your homework first, know their current interests and funding levels. They have an on-line LOI process that permits you to submit up to 3 brief project descriptions and level of funding needed. They review and advise which, if any, project resonates and they invite full proposal.

Decision process is a bit long, after proposal is submitted. Speedier approval/denial would be helpful to pulling together a revenue stream.
Staff information is presented in forthright manner. Their advice is spot-on. They do outreach presentations to the community periodically to provide update on interest and process. Moody funds start-ups and mature organizations.
