Grant Applicant - applied in 2023

You need to know one of the members, and must be very clear on how you impact the lives of children. They require site visits and have a rather lengthy application process - application due 7/31 and awarded by mid-January. They are not knowledgeable about nonprofit issues, so be prepared to explain this.

Grant Applicant - applied in 2021

Thanks to their membership of community-minded young men, it is fairly easy to find a connection to this funder (formerly Denver Active 20-30). They are all businessmen who want to see the return on their investment as they are working hard to raise funding for the grant program. The grant application is very lengthy and obviously not written by people with experience working in a nonprofit, so be prepared to spend some time on the proposal and unusual questions.
