Advice from a Friend

Texas Instruments Foundation

Grant Applicant - applied in 2015

I have enjoyed pretty much interaction I've had with the Texas Instruments Foundation. Andy Smith, President of the foundation, is very informed about the needs and the challenges of the areas in which the foundation funds, and he stays up to date with what is happening in those fields. Andy has high expectations for what grantees do with foundation funds, but he is also open to discussion about the best way to meet those expectations. All other foundation staff with whom I have worked reflect the same kind of standards and support to which Andy is committed.

Pros

Reasonable character restrictions, Reasonable reporting terms, Culturally sensitive
