The grant writing and reporting requirements are very challenging, and the grant amounts awarded have been reduced. Find an easier source for $5-20k.
Culturally sensitive, Inadvertently exerts negative influence in the field, Doesn't "get" nonprofits and issues, Bureaucratic

Stop requiring such a difficult grant and reporting process. Yours isn't the only grant for which nonprofits have to apply, and yours definitely isn't even close the the largest grants we've been awarded. Our largest grants require less information. It's like the grant process is intentionally difficult to justify the jobs of those who are working at Bohemian.

This Foundation uses the FLUXX online system, which is not user-friendly. The Foundation's application is equally unfriendly and very time consuming; despite their claims of only wanting to know why your program/project is important and how it fits their mission. Questions ask repetitive information. The Foundation frequently holds meetings to recruit new grantees, yet they fund only a small number of recurring grantees in certain geographic locations.

Staff members are very accessible and willing to answer questions via phone or e-mail.
