You should know that LFW is specific in the organizations who qualify, but that they are an accessible and equitable funder.

Good
LFW is a really good funding partner. They work well with their grantees and potential grantees. They do not require more than is needed so you don't have a bunch of busy work to do that doesn't apply to the grant and the programs being funded. They are easy to get ahold of and genuinely care about the organizations they fund. They do anything to help you succeed.
Good
Very. LFW is very strategic and funds organizations well. They have been very responsive (always but especially during this pandemic).
No advice.

This funder does equity and access well. They are very accessible and work with all organizations - you don't need a grant writer to be successful with this funder - even a small organization has a chance to be funded.

The annual grant report is a beast. Many of the questions seem repetitive. It can be challenging to answer them all sincerely with our limited set of data and experiences.

Thank you for sharing your experience! We really appreciate your feedback, especially about the grant reporting process. We will keep those suggestions in mind as we develop this year's annual report, and other grant reporting requests. We want to reduce any duplicative questions and make sure the process is "right-sized" for the grant amount.
