Reviewer 386 - Grant Applicant - applied in 2018
The administrator was VERY helpful throughout the application process. She did everything she could to make sure we'd addressed all the relevant points in the right way in your proposal and asked to see a draft before we made our final submission. I actually learned more about grant writing by working with her. She is very candid and will be transparent about what things are fundable and what aren't. Note: as a rule, they don't fund organizations who receive more than 70% of their funding from government sources AND they don't like to be the biggest fish with a $50,000 grant. This can be challenging if your organization, like ours, is a service provider for people with disabilities - government funding is a big part of our revenue, and most of our foundation funders give less than $50,000. Still, we fit the parameters and have felt truly blessed to be in their portfolio for now - this time with a two-year grant.

Keep up the clarity and transparency!
Nope!
They require outcome measurement but they aren't wildly unrealistic about their expectations. They know that changing the world happens in increments. :)
