Grant Applicant - applied in 2017

After several years of small grants from Sudbury we were able to request a multiple-year grant for a project on supporting small farms and food businesses. There was a staggering number of requests for separate financials (annual state program budget, annual regional program budgets, annual state/regional project budgets, multi-year lists of other funders, etc.), and multiple revisions requested, but given the strong relationship with the program person, we were delighted to receive funding for three rather than two years, which was a big deal.

Pros

Gives more than money, "Gets" nonprofits and issues
