Hands down the best foundation. Their questions are brief and to the point, they narrow their field by reviewing letters of intent, and I suspect they invite only those organizations whom they can fund, almost guaranteeing a successful outcome. Their support has helped us build capacity in the areas they fund, and they remain interested in our outcomes and progress after the grant period ends.

We have applied to two of their three main focus areas, and been granted funds in both. They cast a wide net around the state, and are excellent at diversifying their philanthropic activity.
Keep up the great work!!
If you are doing strong, outcome based work in Alabama, you owe it to yourself to deal with Daniel Foundation of Alabama. They are platinum.
I most appreciate the respectful way our agency is treated. We are not asked to jump through unnecessary hoops, compete against other organizations, or waste our time.
