The E.D. is very approachable. The Board Members are very connected people to Rock Island. Don't ask for too much, their awards are generally not real large.

We would welcome a site visit, but realize there's only 1 part time staff person.
Every community foundation has a best practice that they are known for. The RICF has the best award meeting of the local community foundations. They bring their awardees together for a celebration, allowing photos, networking, meeting the Board, etc. You feel like you "know the people" better.
