Maybe in the metro, but - given the difficulties we've had as a non-metro appplicant - it's hard to see accomplishments elsewhere
If you had one piece of advice to give to this funder (about grantmaking or anything else), what would it be?
Please clarify your 3M Gives process for local plant managers! I've tried unsuccessfully, for 3 different organizations, submitting a request, as instructed, to the local plant manager. Things get stuck there, as this person has not been able to get clarification on how the process works from that point on. I'm certain this person is as frustrated as the local nonprofits who are submitting applications and seeing them just sit there in limbo.

3M has just been through some staff changes. the new person isn't from Minnesota and my understanding is that funding is going to focus on international priorities. I'm not sure if they are taking on new grantees, but a phone call is always worth it.
