Mary's Pence is one of the most responsive funders that I have ever worked with. They go out of their way to help organizations they choose to fund and even maintain relationships with organization even if they don't fund them. They also hold terrific grant writing workshops and even provide a sample grant to further guide applicants through the process. I can not say enough good things about the staff at Mary's Pence!

Be sure to understand and be able to explain the difference between how your work is promoting social justice and long-term, systemic change, versus short-term charity/social services.
The funder provided an all expense-paid conference with other grantees, which was incredibly beneficial for capacity-building/professional development, peer-to-peer learning, and networking.

I strongly stated the details of Women of Choices, Inc program. We provide various of services, no concrete feedback was given. Women of Choices has applied twice.

The application form is a little difficult to navigate. Online forms tend to be easier if that's possible for you to set up for future applications.
