Looking at their website it is pretty clear what each of the funding categories are intended for with examples and other information.
I do enjoy speaking on the phone or in person with the Executive Director who is very encouraging and makes great suggestions about what way to go about requesting the funds. The entire staff is very personable.

The process for applying for funding through this foundation is fairly simple. Make sure you meet the qualifications, completely fill out the application, and cross your fingers! If selected, make sure you fill out and submit the post-grantee paperwork so that you may have the opportunity to apply in the future.

If you're not approved the first time - try again. Also be willing to talk with someone and ask what you can do differently next time to earn approval. They are honest and helpful.

It is best to type your responses to the application questions in a word document because the boxes on the form do not expand. Type concise responses to questions. This will make it easier to copy and past your answers onto the application form. If you require additional space, I would suggest attaching a separate Appendix. They are truly committed to serving the community, supporting nonprofits and making a difference. The entire application form is only 3 pages. Go for it!
