This is such an important help as we begin this new mission to serve our parish with Catechesis of the Good Shepherd. It has a very pricey start up cost, so the financial help was HUGE to our small parish.

CCF is a great resource, and the grant process is simple. I just recommend explaining your needs as clearly as possible and being practical about what that funding can accomplish. The grant program associates seemed to be responsive to that approach.

They know exactly what they want, and how their donors want their money to be used.
It was a bit of a long time between the final application submittal and the "Hey, we funded you (or not) and your money is coming." Most programs are planned in April/May/June for a September launch, so getting a finding notice in mid-August is a bit close.
Gets the message out that they have funds to distribute!
