Although we weren't funded in this cycle, we have been funded in the past. Someone form the foundation emailed us to let us know, and made themselves available to answer any questions we might have. While we naturally disappointed not to have been funded, we appreciate the clear communication.

The funder is very invested in the community and always appreciates hearing from the grantees. They will ask questions, mainly to ensure the grant would be a solid fit for both their foundation and the grantee. They have invested so much in their service areas and it is evident they care for these communities. Really enjoy working with them and feel very fortunate to receive their grants.

Not a thing. They truly do a great job. Their process is not tedious, their communication is clear and timely, and they are very approachable during the grant period. We wish that we had more funding partners like them!
Is able to adjust to the needs of changing situations. COVID-19 being one of those. They have become flexible with our programs to allow us to ensure our clients and staff are safe as they fund a community-based outreach program. We really appreciate that they recognize how hard it has been for all nonprofits and participate in the solutions.
