We really appreciate this funder. They have taken the time to understand our work and mission. We have been fortunate to develop a longer term relationship as they have gained knowledge of the benefit of our work to the community. We strive to maintain regular, high quality communication at all times and provide very high quality grant proposals and reporting.

Funder has been open to meetings and has conducted site visits. Also has responded to emailed questions about the grant proposal.

I believe they are creating a more inclusive community, and bringing many partners to the table.
Thank you and keep up the good work!
I really think it will depend on how your mission aligns with their interests - in additional to how well you communicate your mission and its impact.
Building relationships is probably what sums it up the best.

This is a great organization with a very organized process. They are accessible and want to help. My only advice is to take advantage of this and connect!

Plan ahead! The Letter of Intent can be up required for funding that you won't be able to access for a year. Also, their granting operates on a calendar year, not fiscal year. Keep that in mind when developing budgets.

Always helpful and quick to respond to requests for assistance.

Come visit us and see what we do. We would love for you to witness our programs in action, not just read reports and financial documents.
They seem to really care about providing funds to organizations that do make a difference. Their grant process, from Letter of Intent to grant application to follow-up report is extensive, but reasonable given the amount of funds that they disperse.

Staff is always very responsive and receptive to questions. Each year, a different board member follows up to ask questions about the proposal and prepare a recommendation for the funding committee, which is a great step in getting to know the work, and building a relationship.

I know it is hard to pick and choose between grantees when there is not enough money to fund everyone. Thank you for what you do.
The grant application is very simple and straightforward.

After review of your application, someone from the grant review committee will get in touch with you. They will want specific answers without "fluff".
