Plan ahead! The Letter of Intent can be up required for funding that you won't be able to access for a year. Also, their granting operates on a calendar year, not fiscal year. Keep that in mind when developing budgets.

Staff is always very responsive and receptive to questions. Each year, a different board member follows up to ask questions about the proposal and prepare a recommendation for the funding committee, which is a great step in getting to know the work, and building a relationship.

After review of your application, someone from the grant review committee will get in touch with you. They will want specific answers without "fluff".
